Mommy Moments: Most Memorable Mommy Moment 2010

mommy moments

The most memorable amongst the Mommy Moments entries that I have done so far would be my very first entry; it was the week wherein the theme was Before and After. I really had to look for old photos of my two kids ( they were born during the time I don't have a digital camera yet). Since I don't have my scanner set-up I have to settle for not so  "before" photos of them.

I have another favorite Mommy Moments entry; I think the theme for that week was So Little. I posted two generations pictures of my Mom holding me when I was a baby. The other picture was 30 yrs after, it was a picture of me holding my youngest son. In fact, my mom was so proud of the blog post that she even shared it in her Facebook account so her friends may see.

Although I just recently joined Mommy Moments, I always look forward to Fridays because I have to come up with my blog entry for the week. I am looking forward to sharing more Mommy Moments with other Mommy bloggers out there.

Have a Happy New Year!

Mommy Moments: Perfect Christmas

These Christmas stockings have been with us for a couple of years. We have moved from 3 different houses, I still make sure that I bring these Christmas stockings with us whenever we move to a different house. On Christmas Eve, after hearing the Holy Mass the kids will find goodies inside the stockings and of course gifts under the Christmas tree. So after eating our traditional Noche Buena; the kids would rush under the Christmas tree to check which gifts belong to them.
Me and hubby always make sure that everyone in the family would have a little gift to open during Chrismas Eve. Simple gifts could mean a lot during the special occasion like this.
Hope you all have a Merry Christmas and more Mommy Moments for the coming year!

Mommy Moments: Give Love on Christmas Day

No Christmas gifts yet, but I still have a couple of days more before Christmas to buy presents for the kids and family members. This week's Mommy Moments theme is Give Love on Christmas Day. I would not have a hard time thinking on what to buy for my three sons; because they know what they want. Actually it is me who is hesitant on buying it for them. Budget wise they are a bit expensive; I know my boys they easily break toys and they easily grow tired of using them. Since it's Christmas Day, I think I would have to give in to their wishes.

For my eldest son (Jet) he wants to have a wave board. He is grounded from using his mountain bike because he fell from the bike more than 3x and broke the breaks, rim of the wheels and bike pedals. Now he wants to have his own wave board.

My son Gab wants to have remote controlled car; I am not sure if he really likes this.In some days, he would tell me he wants violin. As far as I know he enjoys playing board games with his friends. So I need to make sure what is his final decision before I purchase the remote controlled car.

For my youngest son Jeon, he definitely wants to have Optimus Prime. He is been praying about this gift every night. He tells Jesus Christ to remind Santa Claus about his Christmas gift wish. So we need to make sure that he receives it. He tells his Kuyas that he will be receiving Optimus Prime from Santa Claus and Toy Story characters from Mommy and Daddy.

Christmas Day is more than just the presents that we receive. I think it is best that we impart this message to our children. Jesus is the reason for the season do not forget to remind the kids about it. On the other hand, if you have not decided on what to give your kids this Christmas day, check out other Mommy Moments entries. You may get some good ideas on what could be the best gift for your child. Are you ready to give love this Christmas day? or are you merely ready to give gifts out of tradition?

On Avatars and Online Collages

There are a lot of multi-media social content site, and Beezmap is on them. Beezmap allows its users to become creators by providing tools. These tools would give users chance to create all sorts of multimedia contents that can be shared with friends and family. The users can even make a statement to the world through the use of avatars, online collages, postcards, online blogs and even community groups. In five minutes you can create a multimedia content.
Since there are more ways to use the tools individually or collaborative functions the use would be so engrossed doing the task and would even notice that he has been in front of the computer for hours. Beezmap has a huge user base and compliments the existing social networking sites such as Facebook and MySpace. It allows the user to add another dimension of content creation to be able to link and share. The new Silicon Alley investment is believed to be the next big thing in the world of social avatars as well as social content generation.

Mommy Moments: Our Christmas Tree

My boys were excited about Christmas and they have been telling me to set up the Christmas as early as November. But too bad Mom and Dad were too busy ; finally we had the chance to set up the tree first weekend of December. They had fun helping out; most especially my youngest son.

No beautifully wrapped gifts yet under the Christmas tree; but for me, these three little boys are God's best gifts (although I wish they were still babies). Looking forward to Christmas 2010 in our new home.

Kids Adore This Bee

All of my three boys loved Jollibee at one point in their lives. Now my youngest son Jeon adores this happy dancing bee.

I have never been fascinated on how Jollibee perform during birthday parties. But with this one, I am definitely awed. The person inside that mascot was a real performer. Imagine being able to dance with such grace and enthusiasm while wearing that heavy costume. He or she must have been sweating all over after this performance. It was really great, I wish I had the chance to know who is the person inside that Jollibee costume. That person deserves a congratulations too.
