Mommy Moments: New Achievement

This morning my youngest son Jeon made his greatest achievement so far. He was able to find a way to fix his bike with damage seat.
the damaged bike
I was busy doing my job and he approached me and was looking for the scotch tape. He told me that he    found the seat of his bike but something needs to be fixed.

I had to help Jeon in cutting the scotch tape because he is still not allowed to use the scissors.

He is almost done fixing his bike, and he looks very determined to do it.

Wow! He did it! My little boy was able to fix his bike seat :)

The little boy's smile is priceless! I am proud of my son's achievement.

Mommy Moments: New Stuff

I forgot to take pictures of the toys they have received last Christmas. I was caught up watching them unwrapped their gifts from "Santa Claus" because they were very much excited about it. Well, aside from the new Christmas clothes that these two boys are wearing; they got what they wished for last Christmas. The Christmas outfit was courtesy of Mamita (my Mom) actually all my three boys have the same suits. But I guess Kuya Jet (my eldest) feel so embarrassed to wear the same thing. He is already a "grown up" according to him.
They got their Christmas wish,Kuya Jet received his wave board plus basketball and RC car. On the other hand, Kuya Gab got a soccer ball, word factory and RC car too. Lastly, Jeon got the most number of presents from Santa Claus (he was not naughty according to him), he received his Transformer robots (3 of them), basketball and basketball ring plus a mini-scooter.
Overall, it was a perfect Christmas not just for the kids but even for us adults. The material things that we give our children are not the ones they will remember. These toys may break or damage in time but the Christmas memories will always be in their hearts.

Mommy Moments: New Goal s for 2011

mommy moments

For this year 2011, I have set some goals and hopefully would be able to achieve it. These goals may seem to be very simple; yet sometimes even simple goals are hard to attain. But with sheer determination and commitment; I guess nothing is impossible to achieve. Here are some of the goals that I have set for 2011:
  • Save 10% of our income and hopefully by the end of 2011 we would be able to save up to 30% of our joint income.
  • Work only on the schedule allotted; I have the tendency to work the whole day because I can't seem to stop working once I get my hands on it. So if work requires me to log in at 830 am then I have to be done by 530 pm. The latest would be 7pm so I can spend time with kids and take care of the household.
  • Live healthy, oh my! this is quite difficult for me. But I would try my best to do it.
  • Most of all, I need to improve my relationship with my Saviour. Hopefully teach kids about Jesus Christ too.
These are some of the goals that I hope to achieve by this year. To know more about the goals of other Mommies; check out other entries of Mommy Moments.

CityVille is Facebook Hottest Game

Cityville was launched only a couple of months ago in the number 1 social networking site Facebook. To date it has reached a record breaking monthly users of 84Million. It is far bigger hit than Farmville and other Zynga games. So what makes CityVille interesting to Facebook users? It is almost similar to Farmville; however, what you are building is not just a simple farm but an entire city.

More and more Facebook users are enticed to play CityVille because most of their friends would have invited them or sent out gifts to them to start their own city. In the next couple of months, CityVille would reach around 125million players.

What about you, what is your favorite Facebook game application?
